disneydream06So what has this past week brought me?
Wednesday I got an prepublic sale email for Trans Siberian Orchestra's Christmas show. I have never seen them, but I have heard lots of good things. I went on line to see what kind of tickets were available. Best single seat was Row 6 Center Floor. Do I or don't I? I didn't. I talked to a nurse about it at work and she was like you have to see them. They are so good. So I got on the computer to check it out again and for some reason or another Mayo will not allow you to use Ticketmaster at work. LAME... So I pulled out my Nook and with some difficulty I was able to pull it up. 6th Row Center Floor was still available. I did it this time. :o
Now I just have to hope that the Mayans were wrong about the world ending on Dec. 21 because the concert is Dec. 29th. Then I also have to hope that there isn't a snow storm because the concert is like 75 miles away up in the Twin Cities. :o
Friday I got an discount email for the traveling Cirque du Soleil show Dralion that was in the Twin Cities this weekend. 30% off tickets. Out of curiousity I thought I would see what kind of seats were available. The show was using only half the Target Center. Just a few seats on the floor otherwise the risers. There was a seat in the 2nd row of the risers right off the corner of the stage. I HAD to get it. :p
Saturday I woke up to find an envelope in the mail that contianed the newest cd from Melissa Etheridge, 4th Street Feeling. I won it from a giveaway from Lavender Magazine. I was happily shocked. It's something like the 4th thing I have won from their giveaways. :o I listened to it on the way up to the Cities Sunday. It's a really good cd. :)
Sunday I went up to Minneapolis to see the Cirque du Soleil show Dralion. AMAZING!!!!! Great comedy. Wild acrobatics. Sensual performances. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, don't forget the HOT GUYS. :) I also made a stop at the souvenier counter and more then destroyed the discount I got on the ticket. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! T-shirt, Program, Cd, DVD. Take a guess. :o
I have decided what I want to do when I grow up.
I want to be a comedian in a Cirque du Soliel show. They are so amazing.
