I finally went to see my doctor about my left knee.
I fell directly on it on some ice in the parking ramp at work.
Doctor didn't think there was any major damage, but thought as it was still bothering me yet, that maybe I should see orthopedics.
So I had some xrays done and waited for an appointment with orthopedics to be arranged.

I just got an notification that an appointment was available.

April Frickin' 6th...

Did the doctor say without your left knee working, you'd be all right?

(not sure if this is another pun)

That's typical for orthopedics. :-/

Do you have patient access to your electronic medical record? Your films should be reviewed by the radiologist in 24-ish hours.

If you don’t have electronic access, bug your pcp’s office for the X-ray report. Repeatedly.

Sheesh, that's a long wait. I hope everything turns out to be okay. Problems with knees can be very disabling.

Hugs, Holly

Ayup. Some specialists are majorly booked. I made an appointment with my local ortho, whom I've seen many times. It's a bone and joint practice, so they have lots of specialists. Made it in January, and I got early March.
