Thank you. :) I think this picture of the leafy seadragon turned out better then the last ones. :) There is another one in the tank that is cool. It's got the same body type, but it doesn't have all the leafy effects.
Nice! Do you mean the dolphin show is closing for the season or for good? In either case, what happens to the dolphins? I hope they get to come south for the winter. They look like they need more room....
It's closing for good. They were originally going to close to repair the tank, but then the "baby" dolphin got sick and died earlier this year. They apparently decided that it was better to ship the remaining two else where than try the impossible to find more to bring here. They are going to repair the tank still and maybe bring in a seal/sea lion exhibit.
LoL..... I hope they don't take forever to decide and get it up and going. I bought a membership and thinking I need a discount for having a big attraction gone. :p
I was pleased with a couple of the eagle pics. Thanks. :) The partial albino red tail was interesting in that it was found in really bad shape in the wild. They brought it here and gotten healthy again. They decided that because of it's albino issue it was safer to keep it in captivity because it probably wouldn't survive in the wild. I think I actually had more trouble on the drive up then I did the rest of the day. LOL......... Did I tell you I got a membership to the zoo too? Come on over. I think friends get a discount. :)
