Jon's News Update.......
Oct. 18th, 2011 02:26 amThe fun continues........
Babysitting Record Update........
I am now 4 and 2 in my 13 day babysitting quest. lol...
Out of my 13 shifts until vacation, I have babysat 4 so far.
Just 7 more to go. lol..........
*************************************************************
I broke down and got a flu shot tonight. There is a nurse being paid to wonder around the hospital giving the out. Must be rough.
I wasn't going to get it tonight with vacation coming up, but then I figured I have a good couple of weeks before the fun starts to recover if I do get sick. But I better not. :o
**************************************************************
I was doing a little online searching of bike shops in the area to see about getting my new bike put together.
I found one that listed their charges for different things.
The charge to assemble a new bike is $60. I think for that price I wil be doing some shopping around or doing it myself. :o

Date: 2011-10-18 01:04 pm (UTC)Putting bikes together isnt too hard, if you are at all mechanically inclined, do it yourself and save a few bucks!! You could go buy more Halloween decor, lol

Date: 2011-10-19 02:12 am (UTC)Well, I found out one place will charge $60 to put my bike together, and another will charge $50 to take it out of the box and "put it together", but will charge $150 to fully put it together and make sure it's working okay.
Can you guess which one I am leaning towards? :p

Date: 2011-10-19 02:26 am (UTC)I am so tempted to submit the bill to my work place. They "gave" me the free bike. I don't think I should have to pay to get it put together. :o

Date: 2011-10-20 01:16 am (UTC)I am truly surprised they still give us gifts for anniversaries. They are always shoving the budget down our throats.
