disneydream06Not sure if I mentioned another wasteful shopping spree I went on recently...
After considering a GPS system for my work anniversary gift and then changing my mind when the bike was available, the seed continued to grow and I broke down and ordered one from Amazon. :o
It came a couple of days ago and I finally decided to have a look through at it last night. Discovered that the satellite doesn't like to work in my basement. :p I had to go outside to activate it.
On a side note, it was GORGEOUS outside during the night. :)
The one I got allows you to program "favorites". So I booked addresses for my trip. Hopefully it is that easy.
I was disappointed in one aspect of it. I remember riding with somebody that had one and they could program different accented voices to speak the directions. I get the option of American English(male or female), Spanish, and some different French ones. I was really hoping to get a nice British English accent or something like that. Boring...
I also learned the Minnesota in one of a couple of states that don't allow the window mountings for GPS. So I guess I will have to invest more money to get a dashboard mount.
UGH, I am spending money right and left like it grows on trees, and then I will probably go on vacation and question every penny I want to spend. LOL.............................................
