disneydream06I am so done with going to the doctors with my aches and pains.
About 6 years ago I had to break down and go see somebody because my left shoulder was getting so sore it hurt to move it around.
Well, the last few days my right shoulder has been having some of that feeling. Not as bad, but...
I decided to get it looked at before it got too bad.
I went to health services and they sent me to see a nurse practitioner. She just happened to be the same person I saw the last time. Yippy...
One of the first things she said kind of pissed me off. Have you thought about getting a different job?
WTF?????
I felt like saying, Sure if you can find me a job that pays me what I am making now, and doesn't require wear and tear on my body, I will gladly change jobs. Because in this economy there are so many jobs available to start with. UGH...............
So she put me on a weight lifting restriction of 25 lbs and I was to come back and see somebody on the 21st.
I stopped at the appointment desk and there wasn't anyone available to see me on the 21st so they changed it to the 22nd.
Why do I never see the same person twice in a row? UGH...
So I took the sheet to my nurse manager. He said unfortunately, the station requires being able to lift at least 35 lbs. So he would have to take me off until at least my next appointment and if they raise my restrictions.
I have also been sucking on Ibuprofin for the shoulder, which unfortunately can/will slow down the healing of my stress fracture in my foot.
Speaking of which I have a return appointment for that problem Thursday morning. Been back in the boot full time for the last two weeks. So I assume I will start getting weened out of that again. I HOPE.
I am so over all this hassle.
