Jan. 1st, 2010 02:31 amMy five questions from, Eva,
bozotkutya
1. Tell us about the farthest you have ever traveled from home and the
longest you stayed! The farthest I have traveled away from home I am guessing has to be Ft. Myers, Florida and I was there for two nights. The longest I have been away from home was close to a month when I went to the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Canada.
2. If you could go back to school full time, would you? What would you
study? If I could afford it, I think I would. Then the question is, What for. Common sense would say nursing. However, I would love to be a bakery chef. Not sure if it would get that specific, but I would like it. That or photography.
3. If I visited you but had only one day to stay, what are the things you
would want to show me/what would we do? You would have to come during the end of Summer. We can go to the Minnesota State Fair. Time permitting, we can hit the Mall of America. It's the largest mall in the USA. Originally it was going to be the world's largest, but things got scaled back before they built it.
4. You won $1 million, but cannot spend it on yourself. What do you do
with the money? I am so spending it on my friends. I know that sounds like a cop out, but I truly love to give gifts. Mary gets a new vehicle. Angie gets some cash to give her time to find a new job. Joe gets some cash to cover whatever feels the need. Mom and dad get a new house and car. Not sure how far the million would go, but that's a start.
5. Imagine you found a partner and could afford an adoption. Would you
want to have kids? Why/why not? How many? From where? If it had happened when I was younger, I think I might have wanted to. Not any more though. When I was younger I use to say, No I wouldn't put a kid through having gay parents, but as bad as some things are in this country, I think it's better. At least in some areas. I would say a couple of kids maybe. I am thinking Eastern European. To be honest, I am not a good enough person to say I could adopt kids of need. I am totally in awe of people that raise kids with needs, but I know I don't have what it takes to do that.
