2. Come out to your family and deal with the consequences whatever they may be.

1. Definitely....although I'd alter it to say "be much much much more prudent with credit cards. They are good for some things.

2. I would think that there have been some moments of suspicion over the years....not married, no girlfriends hanging around, likes Broadway, etc... gotta wonder a little.
