I was reading a little article about the Grammy nominations.

One of the things it was pointing out is that Miley Cyrus got ZIP, NADA, NIL, ZERO.

Should a "Tween" sensation really be expected to bring home the Grammies? Is she really good enough to compete with more mature acts?

My personal opinion, Come back and see us in a few more years Miley.

On another Miley note, she apparently told a Dutch or Irish newspaper that she is no longer embarrassed by her Vanity Fair photos. The ones where she was half naked and posing with her daddy. It's just that American is much more conservative than Europe.

Will somebody get this girl a life. :p

Perhaps if she shows some versatility & does something "serious" instead of this "fluff", the Grammy people might think a little differently. The world is filled with people who can sing well. She's just the one the media is pushing at the moment...

I get a kick out of watching her show, but it's the people around her not her.

It'll be interesting to see what she does outside the Hannah Montana bubble now that she has a recording out of herself as herself.

But no, I don't think she's ready for a Grammy at all.

Maybe this pass-up will get her and the people around her to re-direct her career in that direction if that is what she wants.

I didn't see the vanity fair photos but now that makes me curious!

In the big picture the pictures weren't horrible. I think the big stink came from the fact that she was only 15 at the time and the poses were not what a 15 year old should look like. Even in my liberal mind. :p
