This is the guys ship at the Sirens show at Treasure Island.

Here the guy pirates have just bombed the ladies.

The Golden Nugget Hotel. The canopy you can see above it is where they project a light show several times a night. Unfortunately, I think we missed it. We didn't get downtown until after midnight. :(

These are the gold nuggets that the hotel is named after. The smaller one in front is the original one. The larger one in the back is the newer one. It is suppose to be the largest gold nugget on public display. Both were found in Australia. I think it's time for a trip down under. :p

A few comments:

1) your hotel wasn't on the strip ??
2) Did you gamble at all?
3) I'm glad you made it to freemont street. I liked that almost better than the strip
4) you got some great nite shot photos.
5) WOW you got your photo taken with the famous vegas sign. That is quite a hike to get to. You have one up on me, I didn't get my photo taken with the sign. I waved to it via the taxi. 8-)

1. The Stratosphere is at the VERY North end of the Strip.
2. Just a little slot machine action. I am a wimpy gambler. :p
3. We weren't there very long. I would like to have a chance to go back and check it out a little more. And see the light show.
4. It was even better after I realized my camera had a night time setting. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5. We took the bus all the way down to the sign from our hotel and then hoofed it back the other way. lol...

Yep, that's where we stayed. It was a nice hotel, just way to one end of the Strip.
