Saturday night I went to a friend's party. It wasn't any thing special, she had some dvd's from the old TV show The Midnight Special and when she found out Saturday was my birthday she invited me to the party.
I had met her boyfriend before, but didn't really know who he was, so when she said his sisters were coming it didn't really mean anything to me. When they got there Diane was introducing everybody and she introduced me as Long John Silver from the play. :p One of the sisters was like, Are you Jon Hayenga? I was like, Yeah. She was like, Omg, we use to babysit for you. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I asked, What's your last name? She told me and I was like, You do look kind of familiar now. lol..... They baby sat me and my brothers when I was quite young. I joked with one of them that she had tramatized me. One time she had been helping me to make something for my Halloween costume and she was cutting some cardboard with a knife and she sliced her hand open. I still remember that happening. :o She laughed and told me that her boyfriend at the time had taken her to a dance that night and made sure nobody would bump into her hand. :)
It was so nice to catch up with them.
I was diplomatic enough not to tell them that in high school, I kind of had crush on their brother that was in my class. Let's admit, I didn't tell anybody about my crushes back then or now for the most part. Closet doors were sealed shut, but have cracked a bit since then. :p
