Feeling Sad and Lost......

I was going to come in tonight and whine about how badly I did during our preview night for our show. But then I opened my email.........


I got an email from the friend of my dear friend, Adela, scorpio56.
Adela passed away today.
I can't believe it. I am feeling so sad and kind of lost right now.
Adela was such a kind, caring, and giving person. I had the previlage of meeting her and her daughter last Fall when I went to Disney World. They actually drove up from Miami just to see me and spend some time with me at Disney.
Last night I bought a ticket to go see The Lion King. I was so excited to tell her about it. I should have called her this morning. Maybe I could have talked to her one last time. I know that she is up there some where smiling and so happy for me. I have been hoping to go back to Disney again this Fall. Hoping maybe Adela could come up again and we could spend some more time together. Again, if I do, I know that Adela will be watching over me, enjoying the rides along with me. When I was there last year, you could buy a commemerative brick or plaque or something like that at Epcot, and they are placed at the entrance to the Epcot park. If they are still doing that, I want to get one for Adela. She so loved Disney.
A happy thought, Adela can now meet Mr. Disney. I am sure she is picking his brain about all things Disney.

Please keep Adela and her family in your thoughts and prayers. They and we are all going to miss her so very much. Thank you.

Oh man! What happened! I exchanged an email with her a while back, telling her I was planning to get more active on LJ again and she said she was going to go up to Disney soon. I sure didn't think about the Eternal Disneyland. :-(

I have her family, especially Amanda and Tim in my thoughts.

Hi Derek,
The email I got didn't say anything about what happened. I know she did have some health issues. From how she talked, I would have to guess cardiac problems. But I can only guess.
She did just go to Disney World with her kids. I am so very glad she was able to do that. She loved that place so much.
If I can get back down there this Fall, it's going to be kind of meloncholy for me. :(

When her sister called (Don't recall her name)I was so upset.
She told me that Adela was hurting in her chest. She said Adela called 911 herself. She said that when Adela got there they did test. Her heart and alot of things were fine. I think she said something about her liver. That is all i can recall. I do know that they will be posting a post on LJ.I have the pic of you and her as my wallpaper on my laptop:)from your trip.
