WOW, that night SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wednesday I had my follow up appointment with my regular doctor regarding my ER visit.
It went okay and I was feeling, not any worse.
I came home and had a little something to eat, watched a little tv, and went to bed about an hour later then normal.
I woke up 5 hours later with a crampy bellyache. How Fun...
Got up and went to the bathroom.
And went a couple of more times.
But I felt like crap.
I went to work. I let the charge nurse know what all I have/am dealing with.
A couple of times I felt like I could almost pass out.
I went to the charge nurse and told her I really wasn't feeling good.
I agreed to sit down for awhile in an empty room.
I really didn't want to, but I finally gave up and decided I better go to the ER.
UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She asked if wanted somebody to go down with me. I said I would like that.
So I got a wheelchair ride down to the ER.
The waiting room wasn't packed, but it was busy.
And up on the board that shows your wait time, it said the ER was on Purple Light.
That means they are at max capacity. YIPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was a wash rinse and repeat of Thursday, only I didn't get a room, I sat out in the lobby.
ECG, Chest Xray, Blood Work, Second Blood Work.
Finally just after 5 hours, I was taken back and hooked up to a moniter, which I thought was kind of lame after sitting in the waiting room for 5 hours.
Junior Resident came in and chatted.
And then I laid there for nearly another hour and the Senior Resident came in to tell me that everything came back looking okay.
He said all my blood work came back normal, nothing out of the normal range.
He was impressed. He said there's always something just a little out of range.
Go Me. lol.....................
I was dismissed shortly after that.
Now I am home and just feel punk.

On a side note, that make another occurrence for being sick from work again.
I think that puts me up to 5 now.

Somebody just shoot me now and put me out of my misery. :(

I hate to recommend this, but you might want to start keeping a food journal to see if you can find a common factor. I have to avoid super-super-fatty foods, like BBQ pulled pork, which I absolutely adore! When I last went to Nat'l Institutes of Health in November '24, my wife and I went to this excellent BBQ place in El Paso when she dropped me off at the hotel. The next day I spent a lot of time in the bathroom, then ended up vomiting at the airport just before boarding. We eventually figured out it was the fat of the sandwich that did me in.

so sorry to hear this, Jon, how awful for you. I wonder what's causing it? Anyway, I hope you feel okay now and there is no more repeats :(

Hugs, Holly
