Just when I thought things were going along okay.
I allowed myself to splurge on the Barbra Streisand ticket.

Now my credit card companies come a haunting again. Another card has decided to RAISE(skyrocket) my monthly payment by $200. I am not sure how this is going to fit into the money I have been bringing in with the over time I have been working. :(
I am starting to feel major guilt for both the trip and the concert.
You just can't win in this country. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer, and the stupid get kicked when they are down.
Safe to say, I will not be going to the State Fair this weekend. Or doing much of anything else for that matter.
I could sure use that gardian angel now.

On top of all that, I have the guilt of knowing that while I whine away, I have friends that are worse off than me and I should just shut up. I will try.

Wasn't going to comment--BUT

First and foremost, thanks for the DVD. You rock!

I havn't opened up my big mouth about the Babs ticket, because well, unlike other commenters, my thoughts are not positive. Tough love.

Yes, one only lives once, but one also needs to live within her or his means. I'm concerned, because seriously thinking of filing for bankruptcy is a serious thought, then to add a high price item already on the pile- could be problematic. If you did get bankruptcy protection, you would be very limited to future financial goals: i.e. applying for loans, buying a house, ect. Even school loans, or what have you. It would put limits on your future.

I have Credit Card Debt, A car payment, a school loan, and 2 mortgages out on the house. However, knowing how I got into debt, is part of the solution of getting out. Minus the car payment, and the school loan (which are basically on the way of getting paid off), and minus the house (the house is a HUGE tax deduction), the credit card bills. How did I get into debt: I was without a job for a period of time (when I first moved to Rochester), and used the cards to survive. Then when I went on my first 2 europe trips, I did some charging, because I had the money in the bank. However I put the money that was supposed to go to the credit cards as a downpayment on the car, nad here I sit with 2 credit card payments. HOWEVER, I did it to myself, and I pay WAY more on the credit cards/month than what I need to.

O.k. So then where did the money came from europe III. My parents picked up most of the cost-and that was there decision. I could of swung for my half, but they picked it up.

How am I getting out of debt? I put money aside every month, I move money around, I pay over the amount of my credit cards, and I watch what I spend on a day to day basis.

I would SERIOUSLY think about your situation, and what you can do and can not live without. What your MONTHLY expenses are, and how can you cut those down. For example: do you buy 50 bucks worth of porn every month (just for example). If you didn't pay 50 bucks for porn every month, your saving there. Also put yourself on a budget (easier said than done), and watch where money goes. Get your credit card bills ( and other bills you have), off. Most importantly, DO NOT charge anymore on the cards. Your compounding the problem, than solving it.

Opinons are like assholes, everyone has them. Take this just as some friendly advice. Have fun on your trip. See you on the 15th.

I hear you and thank you for being blunt.
I have already canceled plans for the State Fair, and pretty much everything else that isn't essential. Jon is going to be a VERY dull boy for some time to come.
