These are the vehicles that are/have been in my life recently...

This is the beast that runs when it wants to.
It's sad because it's been a nice vehicle. :(



This is the rental that I had for my last two trips to Minneapolis to see shows...
It's funny because I have always laughed whenever I have seen this Jeeps. Who wants a Jeep pickup?



And this is the new to me vehicle in my life.
It's a Ford Escape Limited Edition. It's 4 Wheel Drive, so hopefully that's going to be good in the Winter time.
They put new tires on it, so that's a bonus.
Was it my first choice, no, but I desperately needed a vehicle and it was available in my price range.
There are possible radio issues, but I will have to live with that for now.




The sad part of this whole vehicle mess is that it's possibly ended a friendship.
My friend that has helped me out in these situations in the past said and did some thing during this time that hurt my feelings and basically pissed me off.
One time when I borrowed her car to get to St. Paul for a show, she told me it only had enough gas for 80 miles, and I was like no problem I will fill it up. Then when I stopped to get the car she told me she wanted it returned with a full tank. Really, I filled it up once for you, and it barely used 1/4 of the tank to drive up and back.
Then another night when she rescued me from the last break down I told her I was hoping to have a different vehicle so I might not have to borrow her vehicle last Thursday, but I didn't have any way to go out last Monday to look around, but I was going to Tuesday morning when I got the rental. She said, extend your rental another day. I said, give me the $100 and I will. Her response was, So that's how much I could be getting?
Seriously??? I thought she was helping me out because I was a friend.
I just shut my mouth and didn't say anything.
I said good night to her when she dropped me off at the hospital, and that's the last I spoke to her.
We use to go see movies together, but for now, I just don't see that happening any time soon.
Am I being childish, probably, but that's how I currently feel about it.

So if you could send some good juju my way that this vehicle last me a good long time. :o

That car looks fantastic and let's hope to the car angel in the sky that it lasts!

I am sorry about your friendship with that person. Maybe you both just need some time.

Your old beast as you say, I was sure it was going to be yellow, like a lemon!

The lemon I had was my dream car, well not the used one, but that's what I could afford, Cadillac.
The worst car I ever owned. It wasn't yellow though either. LOL........

Well, as far as I am concerned the ball is in her court now.
Am I being childish? Probably. LOL......

Maybe re-evaluate the friendship in a month?

Oh my gosh, what crazy food combinations. I think they are too 'rich' for me but still, that waffle looked good, hah.

And the lemonade sorbet!

I tried the waffle place's new one last year and it was bad.
Their "waffle" is basically a bumpy crepe, not a waffle. :o

The sorbet does sound yummy. :)
But if they are using a lemon for a "bowl", it means it's small, and they are probably asking at least $6 for it. :o :o :o

Sadly, friendships mean different things to different people and unless you were abusing her kindness, which I don't see you were, she acted irrationally. xx
