Rumor mill at work says they are going to stop requiring us to wear masks next Monday.

I am not sure I am ready to stop wearing them, especially at work.

Heck just a couple of weeks ago we got an email from our manager telling up to be extra careful about being close to each other in break rooms and stuff because of an increase of Covid cases.
Never did find out if she meant amongst staff or patients.

And now they are thinking about stopping mask requirements?

I guess I will look like the oddman out and still wear mine for the time being. :o

I went to one of my doc's offices last week and they're only requiring masks if you are sick or at their cancer center.

Yeah, everyone saying the pandemic's over when thousands of people are still dying of it daily. Not to mention Long Covid is still largely tera incognita. There be dragons there, and they're just barely understanding the condition and its manifestations.

And there are patients who have been negative when they came in and catch it after being in the hospital for awhile because relatives are bringing it in and giving it to them.
So yeah, people are not being careful/safe about this thing.
Don't get me started on the staff who already run around with their masks off half the time. UGH!!!!!!!!!!

Our entire Business Development team is off sick with COVID-19, so I'm definitely continuing to wear mine.

I got them straight from Disney, but sadly, I don't think they sell them any more. :(
You might be able to find some on ebay. I did find a couple of Disney Halloween ones there. :)

I haven't heard all the details, but it sounds like the place is going mask free.

Someone at Gene's work just got Covid last week! Maybe they are making it not mandatory but employees will still wear them, I hope!

Sadly, most of my coworkers are chomping at the bit to get rid of their masks. :(
