Great photo, such pomp and ceremony. I got up early to watch it and I was content that I did.

I watched it all, but I think I nodded off for 5-10 minutes just as the casket was arriving at Windsor Castle. They were marching down the long lane, and then suddenly they were taking the casket out of the hearse. :o

I watched until they put her coffin in the hearse then I had to do things.

The end of an era, she was so special.

I quick took Maggie out during the drive to Windsor, otherwise my butt was on the couch. lol...

Yes, when the drive to Windsor happened I started my morning stuff.
When I saw how slow they were driving I thought, I can't just sit here, LOL!!!!

Yeah, I was glad it took as long as it did.
But going that slow I suppose was partially to allow the family to be driven quicker to meet them at Windsor.

Yes! And I heard the commentator say, so more people can witness.

Such pageantry! England sure knows how to do it!

They really do.
Sadly so many hate them so much. :(
Part of me says the Royal family should just pack up all their pageantry and all their homes and such, and see how the country survives without them and the tourist dollars they bring in. :o
