A Day In The Life.......

Okay before I get started on what I came here to say, let's chat about LJ.
Don't know about the rest of you, but I am having more issues with it.
The icon selection at least for me consists of two different choices, either a drop down menu of the names of my icon pictures, or a drop down menu of the pictures of my icon pictures. Well, the names menu was working just fine, but the picture menu was not working at all.
AND, when I could click the post button the comment wouldn't show at all.
So I am assuming/hoping my comments went through that I made this morning.
Should I hold my breath that things are working okay now?

Well, trying to pick an icon pic for this entry isn't working so if that's any indication...

Well, last night was a real joy at work.
I got to sit with a patient that was off his rocker to the point of being in 4 point restraints.
Apparently at first they were questioning alcohol withdraw, but the nurse was saying that the wife claims he doesn't drink as much as he use to.
Doesn't mean he can't still withdraw.
So they are not sure what is going on.
Thankfully he was on some sedation medication that kept him half way calm.
Until this morning when the docs started coming around and decided they wanted that turned off and the patient woke up.
Thankfully my shifted was ending then. But you know darn well I will be back in with him tonight and he will be fully awake and bonkers.
That was the bad news...
The good news was I needed to stop and fill up my gas tank on the way home.
I had fuel savers to use through my grocery shopping program. I actually had over $6 dollars with of savers to use.
So I got almost 15 gallons of gas for 15 cents.
The way the program works you can't lower the price down to zero cents, you have to pay at least 1 cent per gallon. lol...
I think this was just the third time since being a part of the program that I was able to get gas so cheap.

So, does anybody wanna go to work for me tonight? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My weirdness with LJ is that I'll write a reply, click Post, and nothing seems to happen. If I click Post again, nothing happens. If I go to the person's page and open the post direct, there my comment is - twice. They're definitely slacking on maintaining it, something(s) broken, I think their code base is rotting. They may have lost some programmers due to the talent exodus from young people fleeing that don't want to get sucked into the war machine in Ukraine.

Yep, that's the initial problem I have been dealing with.
And to take it even stranger, if you reply to comments from an email notice, it works just fine and you can see the comment go through. :o
