Theoretically, a President could be convicted of a felony and be in prison and still be President. Most congresscritters have the grace to resign after conviction or during trial when facing serious charges, and if not, their house will usually kick them out. But that was then, this is now. Now they'd probably order the prison to install a Zoom computer and let them telecommute.

Yes I heard... A Trumpie of course. They have 5 or 6 other felons or possible felons (under indictment or investigation for felonies) running in various state senate primaries.

The Philippines just had an election, the Son of previous Dictator Marcos beat out the Current Wanted-for-Crimes-Against humanity leader (suspected of 30,000 assassinations' carried out by his 'drug war'). So the son of thieves beat out the mass murderer.

The world is quite mad.

Yeah, the wife of our dead US Congressman is running for his seat. Big old Trumpie and disgraced former Chairman of the Repub Party of Minnesota. She had to resign before she was kicked out.

I fear for The Philippines. :o
