disneydream06Just when things seem to be moving along okay...
Saturday afternoon I decided to make a run up to Minneapolis to see my friend,mrdreamjeans new fur baby, and to show off my new(er) vehicle.
I got to the outskirts suburb of Inver Grove Heights and my vehicle broke down. I was able to pull off the highway and get into the parking lot of a big truck stop/gas station.
It felt like it was cutting out and the RPM gauge would bounce when it did it.
I called AAA to get it towed back home, I was about an hour away from Stewartville and then waited for the tow truck to show up.
I was entertained while I waited watching a semi trying to back up into a parking spot with semis parked on both sides of it. He ended up giving up and driving away, but came back to try again from the other direction. Eventually another semi driver who was trying to get into the truck stop took pity on him and helped direct him back into the parking spot.
And that's why I don't drive an 18 wheeler. :o
The tow truck finally showed up and was kind enough to allow me to ride along back to Stewartville, even though AAA says it's not allowed because of the virus.
And just to make things interesting...
We were about 20 miles away from home and the tow truck driver suddenly said, Now my truck's doing it.
I said, what?
He's service engine light came home. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thankfully we made it to Stewartville and got my stupid vehicle to the mechanic's place.
I wished him luck getting back home and started walking to home.
I HATE MOTOR VEHICLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
