A Day at the Fair......
Sep. 1st, 2019 08:01 pmI hope you guys are ready for a photo dump or ten...
I have a whole bunch of pictures to share from my three trips to the Minnesota State Fair...
Let's start with the what you go to the fair for, THE FOOD...
Looks like a lot, but please remember this was over 3 visits.
Yes, I started with my Tom Thumb Donuts.
Sadly, the quality was kind of poor, which made them a little disappointing. :(

Some Green Mill Pizza...

A Spam Breakfast Sandwich...

Tator Tot Hotdish on a Stick...

Rice Krispie Treats, although I only got to eat one. I put them in the cooler I brought along in my vehicle and the bag of ice leaked all over and one of the treats got soggy...

A Sample Size Kemp's Ice Cream Sandwich, they were giving them away as samples...

A Strawberry Smoothie...

Fresh Squeezed Lemonade with Strawberry Puree...

One of the new foods, Cuban Fusion Fajita...

A couple of things I bought but haven't eaten yet.
A bag of Toffee Peanuts, a PB&J Lollipop, and a bag of Kettle Corn, but I forgot to get a picture of that...

A glass of pucker power Lemonade...

Another new food, a Blueberry Key Lime Pie...

I bought a bucket of Sweet Martha's Chocolate Chip Cookies, and then put them in the cooler in my vehicle and would eat one or two when I would go back to my vehicle throughout the day...

This is an order of the Norwegian Onion Rings. Some asked what made them Norwegian, was that you
fairy69? They use a lighter batter, and you get some Lingonberry sauce to dip them in. They were YUMMY...

One last trip to Ole and Lena's stand for some "Norwegian" food. This is the Norwegian Banana Split...

One last new food, this is a Stuffed Cabbage with a dinner roll. Anybody eat stuffed cabbage? Is the cabbage leaf suppose to be mush? I would think it would better to keep the stuffing hot and then roll it in the cabbage leaf. The leaf was basically steam heated I think and nothing but mush...

One last Fresh Squeezed Lemonade with Strawberry Puree...

Date: 2019-09-09 04:28 pm (UTC)I have a hard time looking at the onion rings. I began a new eating plan when I returned and they are definitely not on it. :(
