What did I do this part weekend? Hmm???
I left work Friday morning with the start of a cold. By the time I drove home, about 20 minutes I had shaking chills and a fever. I hate colds. I bundled up in a blanket and drank lots of liquids. I tried to get some sleep. When I finally decided to get up for the day I could barely talk. So I called into work and told them I was sick for the night. Oh darn. lol... Although it really isn't any fun being home form work when you are sick. That is basically how I spent Friday through Sunday morning.
Sunday evening I was feeling well enough that I decided I would go see the show I had a ticket to in Minneapolis. The show was called Urinetown. I know that sounds really odd and totally strange, BUT the show is GREAT!!! It is a riot. It doesn't take itself serious at all. It is the story of a town where a drought has been so severe that private bathrooms have been outlawed. And you have to pay to use public bathrooms. That is the basic concept.
If you get a chance I really recommend going to see it.
I am now back to work and I still have my cold. ugh... I hopw everyone had a better weekend then I did.

Why do colds always occur when you don't have to be at work. OK, so missed a bit of work, but aving a cold on your own time sucks! I love it when colds are smack in the middle of the week, I know I'm ill but I can always hope to be better by Friday night!!

Even though I was scheduled to work it still sucks being sick on a Friday night. At least it was one extra day away from work.
My next couple of weeks are booked solid again. I hope I don't relapse. yuck...

I didn't know busy bees could catch a cold. Oh well, I learn new things each day. Being sick on your own time is the nastiest thing ever.

I am not real sure which group is actually doing the touring show but here is the web site for the show. http://www.urinetown.com/flash/home_1a.html
It is so absolutely funny. I know you and a certain someone would really enjoy it. I hope this will help.
