disneydream06I just finished up reading book No. 24.
I read "The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood" by Howard Pyle.
It was a fun read, but some times a little hard because of the old English dialogue and such.
I was trying to recognize some of the adventures from movies and shows I have seen about Robin Hood, but I am not sure I did. One surprising things was Maid Marion was missing in action. :o I think she was mentioned in one sentence just over half way through the book.
Sadly he attached an epilogue that brings about an end of Robin. :o :o :o
I know it's not meant to be, but it does kind of come off as a wee bit on the homoerotic side. lol... You have all these men living together in the woods. They kiss each other when they depart. They weep for joy over the singing of Allan a Dale.
If you are interested in a fun/entertaining television version of Robin Hood, I recommend the British show "Robin of Sherwood" from the mid 80s. The second season starred a young Jason Connery, son of Sean Bond James Bond Connery.
