A Day in the Life.........

I was reporting off to the day shift this morning and one of our managers came up to me and tried to give me the work iphone. I told her I really didn't want it. She kind of looked at me like What? I told her if it's mandatory I really didn't want it. She was like, The Department of Nursing really wants you to have it. I said, well if I was working less the .5 FTE I wouldn't have to have it. She said, but you are 1.0 FTE. I simply told her, I really didn't want it. If it was mandatory I would take it, otherwise, no I didn't want it. She just kind of looked at me, and backed off and I went back to giving report to the day shift.
UGH...........
I wonder how fast she or the other manager will come back to me and tell me I have to take the damn phone.
Why should I have to sign my name for responsibility for a $1000 phone that I don't want and don't plan to use? :o :o :o
