Trump: ‘I Have a Lot of Respect’ for Hil

It appears that Donald Trump’s campaign chant to “lock her up” is moving further and further into the newly inaugurated president’s rearview mirror. During his brief remarks before a congressional luncheon Friday on Capitol Hill, the president thanked Bill and Hillary Clinton for being in attendance for his inauguration and the subsequent luncheon. “I was very honored when I heard that President Bill Clinton and Secretary Hillary Clinton was coming today,” Trump said of his election foe. “I’d like you to stand up,” he said to the crowd of members of Congress, dignitaries, and his cabinet nominees. “Honestly, there’s nothing more I can say because I have a lot of respect for those two people.”

By all but a few accounts, he gave the worst inauguration speech in history. Reagan's presidency worked because he had a knack for making us feel good about ourselves, not bringing out the worst in Americans as tRump does.

The couple of minutes of it that I heard contained NOTHING that would help unite this country.
As for the rest of the World? We will be lucky if anybody still likes us. Of course the way Europe is going with all the radical politicians winning over there, he will at least have some company. :o
