I'm not sure when I first started? Probably a few years more. It's a good tradition! I tend to read it slightly closer to Christmas itself.

His style of writing is hard to read some times, but it's worth it for Carol. :)

So you've improved on last year's numbers then. Is the yearly reading of A Christmas Carol a personal ritual?

Date: 2016-12-06 04:14 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] thespian15.livejournal.com
Yeah, I kind of stole the ritual from another friend. lol...
It's a personal best this year, but I don't imagine I will be beating it any time soon. LOL...
I joked with another friend that I was going to read one book next year, War and Peace. LOL..........

Think that was me last month? Cool ritual though, i don't think I've read it yet.

Also, must be time I posted my books (said this last month too!)

There is a Piorot one, but I have read it a few times. And James Harriot has one I think. ;-)

From: [identity profile] thespian15.livejournal.com
Oh yes, I think I have read the Piorot Christmas story. :)

It is a really good one! He has no heat and gets invited to stay at a mansion type house where there is a murder. I think that is the way it goes. Something about the Christmas pudding and an ice covered pond?

From: [identity profile] thespian15.livejournal.com
It's been awhile since I have read it, but I think it was good. Standard Christie. :)

Yes, how Christmasy is that a Cozy Murder, hah!!
(Very standard Christie).
