Wrapped up No. 40 last night at work. I didn't expect to have any time for reading but instead I ended up with enough time to finish the book. Another aide was assigned to sit with one of our confused patients and he refused to do it, so I had to sit with the patient. Well, the patient slept for the first 4 hours, so I read my book. Not that the other aide actually worked. He probably would have accomplished as much if he had sat with the sleeping patient. UGH.....

Anyway, I read the book, "A Caribbean Mystery" by Agatha Christie. It's another Miss Marple mystery. She hasn't been feeling well, so her nephew ships her off to the Caribbean to recover and in true Christie story telling, let the deaths begin. lol...
One of my guesses ended up being half correct. LOL........

nice!! When you're off, do you live normal daytime days than? Or is your sleep still adjusted to your working hours?

From: [identity profile] thespian15.livejournal.com
Normally I stay in my night shift routine, just because it's easier then switching back and for.
Yesterday however I did kind of switch back. I was going to roast a turkey and so I needed to get it in the oven in the middle of the afternoon, so I just stayed up. So now I just want to sleep all night. UGH.......

Oh that was a good read! I am due to read some Agatha.

What you said, "Another aide was assigned to sit with one of our confused patients and he refused to do it, so I had to sit with the patient". What is up with that? I get the feeling you are very nice at work.

Hugz
