I just finished book No. 36. I read Abigail & John: Portrait of a Marriage by Edith B. Gelles.
No, I didn't read this in the last couple of days since finishing my last book. This has been a second book that I have been reading.

It's a biography of John and Abigail Adams. John being a leader during the revolution and the second President of the United States.
Even though they had to spend many years apart to his political offices, John and Abigail had a very close/strong marriage.
If they were married today and went through all their separations I can't imagine the marriage would last. Although, like the author stated at one point, people didn't divorce back then either.
A lot of the book is told through letters they shared with each other and a few friends.

I do like history and biographies, so it was enjoyable.
And it was nice to learn things that aren't in general history books.

Maybe a little, but strictly romance novels are not really my thing.

I am about 15 pages from being half way through another book.
It's just a quick little fun read. :)

Thank you for explaining that you were reading two books at once. I was just going to reply to the other one, and then I see this, hee hee! Thinking to myself, my god he is reading fast!

No more float, no more float, yippee!

I usually have two books going. One real book and one on the nook. So if I am sitting with a patient and they are quiet and the room is dark, I can read on the nook. :)

I sure hope I don't float when I go back in Monday night. We had 14 patients Friday night, but three were going to transfer out Saturday, and there were a couple of them that weren't doing so good. :o
So if it gets too quiet, I will have to float. BLECK.....

I hope you don't have to float. That sounds like it was a busy Friday night, jeez.

That is a good idea to have two books going with one on the Nook. I try to do that but then I forget! I still love my Nook.

Well, I have been working on this book for awhile.
Probably as far back as the pirate book. :p
That said, I picked up a really quick read this morning and should have another one in a couple of days. :)
