This is the first song I really like growing up. :)
It was also the first record I remember buying. It was a 45 copy. I still have it some where. :)
Over the years I had the chance to see Lynn Anderson twice.
Unfortunately, the second at the second concert she was suffering some laryngitis and so it was a very brief show. But she had a meet and greet afterward, and I got her to sign and album cover. :)

Most of the older Country singers had early lives with hard times - the influence made it into their music and made it sound more "human" in many ways...
