No, he was actually born in Canada, but he has a US citizen mother. I believe when he ran for the senate, or maybe it was after, he renounced his Canadian citizenship. IMHO so he could run for the Presidency. A slap in the face to his Canadian relatives.

If Trump has his way, he will have a lot of trouble, but so far Cruz is leading the Republican pack in Iowa which is the first contest in the race. :o
