Shall we return to Las Vegas, or a few miles outside of it rather...
This was my tour of the Valley of Fire State Park.

The tour guide said the rock formation in this picture was used in one of the Austin Powers movies. A moon base or something like that...



Water in the desert. If you look closely around the edges, you can see tadpoles and other little creatures...
















Fighting/Playing ground squirrels at the picnic area...

Cabins that were build many years ago. No longer being used though...

They are constantly trying to give away old forests and things. They have been trying to give away land right next to the Grand Canyon to a mining company :o

Wow - wow -wheee! I have never been there and that surprises me! You captured some great shots, especially of the desert sheep/goats/rams what ever they are. Gene looked at your photos also, he thinks they are the same desert sheep we saw in Anza Borrego desert.
