I am damn sick and tired of the CMAs disrespecting the President of the United States.

When the apparently one liberal country singer spoke out against Bush II, she was banned and had her life threatened.

Now year after year the CMAs have been filled with one diss after another of the President.
The least they could do was openly admit that they hate the guy because he's Black.

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never thought about the Bush/Dixie Chicks thing (and the person you are speaking of) in relation to Obama, but you have a point. It seems like people only respect "their" president. (I can't think about it too much or I get rage-y.)

I am tempted to say something about a former LJ friend too. Haven't deleted him from my friends page, and boy did his Catholic sexist leanings come through the other day. :o With somebody who thinks like that I really wonder why he ever asked to be friends with me. :o

I didn't watch the CMAs, though rick had them on for a bit.. and he turned the channel shortly after, for the same reason I wasn't watching.. Blake Shelton and his wife gettin' all the awards. UGH!
