Last Thursday I got a call from Wells Fargo saying I hadn't made a payment on my Mastercard.
YES, I did. Did you get my payment on my VISA?
Yes we did. Oh there is a double payment on the VISA.
SERIOUSLY?????
Okay we will fix that and take off the late fee.

Sunday comes and I get another phone call from Wells Fargo saying I hadn't made a payment on my Mastercard.
YES I DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just talked to somebody else on Thursday.
Okay we will fix that.

Monday I get the bills for August and sure enough it shows I need to make a double payment on the Mastercard and there is a late fee tacted on.

Tuesday I go to the local branch and explain the whole mess AGAIN
Yes we can get that fixed up.

Tonight I just called to check on my account and.....
SURE ENOUGH it shows I am still missing a payment on my Mastercard. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I called them again.
Dude wants me to make another payment to get my account in good standing and then they can refund me that amount later.
WHY SHOULD I PAY YOU WHEN YOU ALREADY HAVE MY MONEY????????????????????? All you have to do is tap a couple of computer keys and move the money from the VISA to Mastercard. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have already changed banks, but can't afford to pay off credit cards with WF all at once. If I could I would so tell them where they could shove those cards. ARGH.......

Yes it is.
I started working back in the 80s when they were giving out credit cards like they were candy and I was dumb enough to get a bunch of them.

No, you don't have to pay the full amount each month.
Although I think the American Express credit card does require that.

Yeah I am sure that's a big part of it.
But I lay a LOT of the blame on the banks. They were throwing credit at people which allowed some of us to get into big debt. :o

They do a check on you, but back then I don't think they were paying any attention.
Now it's next to impossible to get credit cards. Banks are sitting on their money and not offering it out. :o Which is even worse because the government/We the people, bailed them out and kept them from going out of business during the crash. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both payments show as being applied to just the VISA card.
Not sure how the accomplished that because the one check should have the number for the Mastercard not the VISA. ARGH...........

So in the end, you paid the visa twice and not the mastercard? I'd be on the phone complaining about that. You shouldn't have to pay the late fee!

They all claim it will be straightened out, but nobody seems to be doing it. It really shouldn't be that difficult.
And they all claim to be canceling the late fee. Yeah Right.....

I remember having 3 cards.. omg.. at times.. they were something else.. like HELL!
