Ever wonder why birds are scarce when you are walking around Epcot's Future World?
After the park was built, staff members noticed birds building nests in inconvenient places and making themselves a bit of a nuisance. That's why imagineers came up with a natural to gently relocate these feathered residents. It's a bird call repeating over and over that most visitors don't even notice. Imagineers installed a sound system with hidden speakers playing a "bird in distress" call to discourage other birds from making Future World their home.
