Book Reading.....

disneydream06Just finished up book No. 2 for the year. I read Soul Music by Terry Pratchett.
Soul Music is part of the DiscWorld series. It centers around Death and his grand daughter Susan.
I love the character of Death he is actually quite funny.
Again, Death leaves his job to try to find something. He's grand daughter, Susan, is selected to take over his duties with the help of Death's horse and Death of Rats.
There is a young boy who comes into ownership of an unusual guitar. The guitar seems to take over the boys soul and the band that he is a part of suddenly becomes a huge success.
One night while out gathering up souls, Susan comes to a tavern to collect one and it's this young boy. Only something happens and he doesn't die. The guitar has kind of taken over his soul and is keeping him alive and the music is kind of driving the world crazy.
A great quote is from the head wizard of the University:
That sounded exactly like a cat trying to go to the lavetory through a sewn up bum. :p
