disneydream06Okay, so obviously, I am cursed.
I got in my car to come to work tonight and as I drove away I noticed the Service Engine Soon light was on. REALLY???
Well, I guess that's better than the Caddy. That service light came on before I could even get it home the first day I bought it. The Impala waited a whole week and a half. :o
Car came with a "limited warranty". So wonder how limited.
I am thinking I might stop in to my mechanic and see if they can hook it up to see what the problem is and then decide if I am going to drive it back over to the dealership.
Needless to say, I am NOT a happy camper at this moment.

Date: 2012-04-27 09:33 am (UTC)A mechanic with the proper equipment will hook the car up to a computer and a code will tell him what caused the light to go off. Hopefully, it is something minor. I'm gonna guess some sort of sensor....

Date: 2012-04-27 01:44 pm (UTC)Your friend who is a mechanic should have a diagnostic machine that he can plug into your cars "brain" and within minutes know exactly what is wrong with it. That is the best route to take. Its an easy way to figure out issues that the car has and only take a couple minutes.
Hopefully it will be something easy like am 02 censor and not a cracked head or something like that. Saima had an impala a few years ago and loved it. Hopefully this is just a simple glitch and you will love your car too!!
