A Real Entry, Believe It or Not.....

I actually did something this past weekend to talk about.
Saturday night I went to see the movie Fahrenheit 9/11. First of all I am so surprised that this movie actually came to Rochester, Mn. This part of the state is SOOOOO conservative, it is scary. I went to see the 7pm showing and they actually opened another theater because the crowd was so big. Very impressive. The movie is very moving. I dare anyone with feelings to see this movie and not cry. I was bawling several times through out the movie.
I hope everyone goes and sees it. If you didn't like Georgie before, it won't change your mind. If you had doubts this might help. If you love Georgie, well, this will just make you hate Michael Moore and the Democrats even more. lol...

On Sunday, I drove up to Minneapolis for the Pride Fest parade. A friend from work that was going to go with me bailed at the last minute. Then when I go tup to Minneapolis, I called a friend up there and he was all set to come and meet me at the parade, but he never showed. About an hour into the parade I checked my phone. It was in my camera case because it was raining. Oh yeah, did I mention that it rained for almost the entire parade. Yippy. Anyway, my friend had called back and said after taking a shower he started to feel real dizzy so he wasn't going to be coming. So I sat in the rain and watched the parade by myself. When the parade got over I headed down to the festival in the park. It was fun. Lots of poeple but it was chiily so, everyone was covered up for the most part.
No I ask you, what kind of gay pride fest is it without some hot guys walking around without much on? lol...
I saw a couple of poeple I knew, but I didn't stop them because I wasn't sure if we were still friends after the Stripper sumped all over our friendship. I figured their loyalties are with him and not me. Their lose not mine. Right?
Well, I made the most of my day. Maybe next year will be better?
