Jul. 5th, 2011 05:27 pmWanna talk about irony???
I opened my email and there is one from my nurse manager.
I open it and it's a thank you for my hard work/perfect attendance during the second quarter of the year.
Now the irony...
Guess who's probably calling in sick tonight?
I would have been tempted to call in sick last night, but you just can't do that on a holiday without everyone assuming you were faking it. So I went to work last night.
I have been sick since Saturday night/Sunday morning.
Today I took some Tylenol at 10 am and went to bed. I "slept" until about 2 pm. If you call waking up frequently with chills sleeping. At one point I coughed and it felt like I ripped out the inside of my throat. The throat feels better, but...
I just had strep in March. Ain't I due for a longer stretch of healthiness???
