An online friend that lives in Michigan said their weatherman had said they could get snow.
I teased that I could take the snow and she could have our tornados.

Heh!  I've never heard of tornadoes at 9,000', I don't know if that means they can never happen.  I just asked Anthropic's Claude AI, it said that Colorado has recorded tornadoes at 8,000 and 9,000', but they're much weaker.
