Well, it's supposed to. But of course I have to be different. If I sit here and rest and stand up on it, it hurts like crap. When I took Maggie out earlier and walked for awhile on it, it felt better towards the end of the walk. But of course walking on it doesn't help. UGH...
At it's worst it really does. :o :o :o Last year when my knee flared, I could barely walk. The ankle is not much better this time around. I need to look into cherry juice. I LOVE cherries, but all too often they are horribly expensive.
Hey, if it helps make the condition retreat faster, screw the cost dude! And pure cherry juice (no added sugar) would be much more concentrated than eating the fruit.
My grocery store is having a sale on cherries on Thursday, I will have to stop and get some if they look good and then also look for some cherry juice. :)
My wife suggested maybe getting an Rx for colchicine. It's an anti-inflammatory that might help a flare-up, but won't address the underlying problem. But it can have nasty side-effects, and they vary if you take it for a gout attack or for your heart. She's just beginning it and saw that it specifically addressed gout.
Still having issues. Last night I started to have some pain in the knee and today I started having some pain down into the foot below the ankle. I took tonight off as well, and hoping that tomorrow is a better day.
