Good restart to the old diet.
Mostly coming from cutting back on my intake. But I have also have a VERY busy week at work. LOTS of running around.
Back in the negative for the year. :)

TX to Execute ‘Mentally Retarded’ Man

Texas plans to execute Marvin Wilson, who has been diagnosed as “mentally retarded,” on Tuesday. The 54-year-old man, who will be punished for his crimes by being put to death by lethal injection, does not meet the state’s definition of mental deficiency that would make the death penalty excessive punishment. Wilson was placed on death row after being found guilty of the murder of a police informant in Beaumont in 1992. Wilson was subjected to extensive psychological testing and was found at the time to possess the literacy level of a 7-year-old. He tested in the lowest IQ percentile of the population, managing a score of 61.

OOPS........

A coworker pointed out to me last night after watching the repeat of the Olympic coverage that the gymnast I was whining about in yesterday's entry wasn't the same one that didn't make the all around.
The gymnast that blew it on the vault was basically on the team because she was super good on the vault and was therefore expected to take the gold.
She blew her chances and then proceeded to pout.
Which just proves my point that these girls are not mature enough to be competing on this level.
That or it's typical US ego that we have to win everything?

Bynes Accused of Hit-and-Run

Is there a Bad Drivers Anonymous group that could help? Actress Amanda Bynes is being accused of yet another hit-and-run incident, after she allegedly rear-ended a woman’s car Saturday afternoon. The supposed hit-and-run victim has filed a police report and tells TMZ that Bynes “looked like a hot mess” and drove off without exchanging insurance information because she “seemed nervous about that.” The former Nickelodeon star has been accused of three other hit-and-run incidents this year and was charged with one count of misdemeanor DUI for an accident in April.
