Jan. 10th, 2011 01:51 amNo book challenge this year, but I thought I would continue to keep track of what I am reading.
The first book I read this year was Guards Guards.
It's the eighth book in the Discworld series that I have been reading.
It started off kind of slow and boring, but it turned out to be a really fun book.
I hope the character Carrot will make another appearance in the series. Actually most of the characters would be fun to have back.
Next I am going back to the Night Watch series I started back in 2009. I had finished the first book, Night Watch, and just barely started the second one Day Watch when I got involved with the British author challenge. So I have restarted Day Watch, and I hope I don't get too delayed if I am lucky enough to be cast in the play I am going to audition for soon.

Now if I can just get some walking/exercise going along with this, and I could really be going to town.

The No. 1 country in the world with gun to person percentage?
The United States of America with 90 guns for every 100 people.
The No. 2 country in the world with gun to person percentage?
Yemen with 61 guns for every 100 people.
And yet people here are so afraid the boogey man is going to come take away their guns.
So it's just easier to kill people instead.

Sarah Palin or someone from her camp is now claiming that the gun sites that she posted to take aim at Democrats she wanted to defeat were actually surveyor sites. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Tea Party Express's reaction to the murders in Arizona?
They have sent out an email partially titled, The Tea Party Will Not Be Stopped.
Included in that email? A Fundraising plea. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
