The No. 1 country in the world with gun to person percentage?
The United States of America with 90 guns for every 100 people.
The No. 2 country in the world with gun to person percentage?
Yemen with 61 guns for every 100 people.
And yet people here are so afraid the boogey man is going to come take away their guns.
So it's just easier to kill people instead.

Sarah Palin or someone from her camp is now claiming that the gun sites that she posted to take aim at Democrats she wanted to defeat were actually surveyor sites. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They have sent out an email partially titled, The Tea Party Will Not Be Stopped.
Included in that email? A Fundraising plea. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day No. 6 since taking power Mr. Boehner, where are the jobs?

Date: 2011-01-12 04:58 am (UTC)I think it was a huge mistake to simply say the Constitution says we have a right to bear arms means we should all have guns. There is more to that amendment than those few words.
Would never guess I am not a gun person would you? lol...

I'm unashamedly one of the American gun owners. It's mainly for the home and target practice, but as a military brat, I've been around them growing up.
At one time Dad and Mum had quite a few guns for different purposes, so the stats as far as Americans go are probably skewed by gun owners like our family.
Dad gave me a shotgun for my 22nd birthday when I lived alone in Cali. We used to go skeet shooting, and he was a Pennsylvania-raised hunter/archer.

No one will be able to convince me that you will ever need an automatic/semiautomatic weapon unless you are up to no good.
