Jun. 28th, 2005 04:44 amI was already to tell you all about my day up at Minneapolis' Pride weekend.
BUT LET'S FIRST TALK ABOUT A TOTALLY SHITHEAD NURSE THAT I AM WORKING WITH!!!!!
I just had a nurse walk by me and say, I am really impressed with your patient care. And then she walked away. So I followed her up to the desk and asked her what she meant by that remark. She told me that she was not at all impressed with my patient care and that she felt like she had to ask me to everything. I took one of her patients into the bathroom and she told me that when he was done he would need to be scanned to see if he was voiding okay. Apparently, I didn't respond appropriately to her so she didn't know if I knew enough to do that. And she asked me to order a leg bag kit for her on the computer and I told her that the computer I was on didn't work for that. A few minutes later, I went up to the desk to wash my hands and she asked me if I had ordered that kit for her. I told her that I I had already told her that I couldn't do it on the computer I was working on that she could bring it up just as quick as I could. (Okay that is a lie. She is a computer idiot). And I walked away. Now she is saying that she is so far behind on her work and it would have been nice if I had done it for her. And her patient never called from the bathroom for help back and so he walked back by himself and it had been like 5 minutes and he needed to be scanned. And his arm(surgical) had been left hanging down. Excuse me, but I don't read minds and I can't be in two places at once. I asked her if she wanted me to answer her with Yes Mame everytime she talks to me? She thought something like that would be good. So she knows that I am doing her bidding.(paraphrasing there) All this bitching from a nurse that walked out of a patient's room left the call light on so I would come answer it and get the patient up to the bathroom. All she had to do was unplug the ladies machines. Well, I have been off for a couple of days and I don't know her and how she is doing. Well, guess what sweetie? I have been off a couple of days too, and she hasn't changed in the lest for the last couple of weeks as far as her ability to get up and walk. Don't pull that shit with me. I am so pissed right now. And if she has the nerve to go to our nurse manager about this I am going to let her have it with both barrels. She is one of the most imcompetent nurses that there is here and she has already had a blow up with another nurse. So who has the problems here?????
Well, from now on I will answer her every word with Yes Mame. And I don't plan on lifting a finger to go out of my way to do anything extra for that bitch.
There aren't many things that will get me this pissed off, but when someone tries to tell me I am not doing a good job taking care of patients, they have crossed the line.
God I am SO ANGRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just learned from one of the other nurses that this shithead has been "goofing off" on the computer too and so she has no excuse to say she was so busy she couldn't get her work done.
