Monday at the Movies.....

Today's song comes from the 1964 movie, "Fiddler on the Roof". It's never been a go to movie for me, but when I do come across it I really do enjoy it, and the soundtrack is really good.
I choose "Sunrise Sunset" for this week's song. It's a beautiful song.
In this video, the song itself starts about halfway through the video.

On a side note, I acted in "Fiddler on the Roof" with our community theater several years back.
I played the Russian Constable who is friendly with Tevye.

I've done two productions and a national tour of "Fiddler". It is a show which brings the actors together into a big family. I loved doing the show ... I've sung "Sunrise, Sunset" in a couple of weddings over the years ...

I'm sure you were! I was the Russian soloist in the first production of Fiddler I did. On the national tour, I was one of the Jewish sons and understudied Mendel, the Rabbi's son. (Because I look so Jewish. :)
