This smells of fake news.... and poking around, it indeed does look like specific individuals in low level positions of "authority" (City council and county officials) are spreading this story, but there is no primary source that can be verified and no witness interviews.

Yes, Parties are happening, but the whole gambling game etc that the story claims appears to be a satanic panic style scam, perpetrated by the false narratives of Republicans (once again) so they can grab some authority while pretending to be "vigilant" as they start to realize the Trumpies have mislead them.

I did see on the news one night about a college kid in the hospital with the Virus because he attended one of those parties. :(
