A Day in the Life.........
Jul. 4th, 2018 08:37 amI went to the movies last night and made it a double feature.
I saw the documentary, "Won't You Be My Neighbor" about Fred Rogers, the host of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. I didn't watch the show growing up, but it was a really good film. One of the first things they talked about was the first episode of his show and it literally copied the current political climate right down to a despot building a wall to keep those unwanted people out of his kingdom. :o :o :o
I highly recommend seeing this documentary, but bring your tissues. :o
Then I waited around and went to the last showing of the day of the Incredibles 2.
That makes No. 3 for this movie. lol.........
When I bought my ticket I was the only one so far. And they have the system of picking your seats at the time you buy your tickets. Remember that.
When I finally went in to the movie I sat down and was the only person in the theater. Then people started to trickle in. Then this guy and his three kids come in and literally sat down right beside me. :o :o :o
WHY would you buy tickets right next to somebody else when the theater was far from full? UGH.....
On another note, my town has a parade for the 4th of July and usually people will start putting out blankets and chairs along the route to save their places, and they will start doing this a day or two in advance. :o
This morning I took Maggie out for her morning constitutional, and the street along the cemetary next to us was lined with blankets. And somebody had the nerve to put their blankets down across the driveway entrance to the cemetery. SERIOUSLY??????????
I came back and told dad, and told him I want to drive into the cemetery, over the blankets, just to prove a point. What frickin' idiots. :o
