Today shall be Thomas Edison's estate.
This picture is looking over at his house(s) from Henry Ford's place.
As you can see they are already getting the windows shuttered up for the hurricane.
Some pretty flowers...
Some employees working on closing down the place...
The bedroom of Thomas Edison and his wife...
His office...
More hurricane prep, with the shutters closed up...
Some bamboo plants...
What is left of the dock/pier that once serviced the estate...
A couple of shots of the private swimming pool. Apparently the high diving board was added just for esthetics because the pool is only something like 5 feet deep...
A couple of shots of their employees cottage. They had a three car garage even though Thomas didn't drive...
A meditation pool that Thomas Edison's wife put in...
