disneydream06I just finished up Book No. 21.
I read "The Crown's Fate" by Evelyn Skye. It's the second book in "The Crown's Game" series. Well, I assume it will continue as a series. Things did wrap up fairly neatly at the end of this book.
At the end of "The Crown's Game" Nikolai was thought dead, but of course he wasn't because then you wouldn't have a part two. He had been reduced to a shadow figure and not a happy camper.
After his "death" it was revealed that he was actually the illegitimate son of the recently murdered Tsar. Then his undead mother came to help return him to a living body only she used her evil power which in turn, turned him evil and he decided that he should be the next Tsar and so he was going to kill Pasha, the tsarevich, and his former best friend.
The book then consists of the batter between "good" and "evil".
Not surprisingly, in the last few pages of the book every thing turned out okay for everybody. Well, not all the soldiers who were killed, but for the main characters. :p
So it will be interesting to see if the author brings everybody back for another go round.
