The people/kids that bullied this young girl should be found and charged with something.

at the worst of my time the teacher did nothing to protect me

it's almost worse for girls - the bullying is not physical
it can be not even name calling
it is shunning - it is looks and snickers

in my case the girl who had it in for me took everything out of my desk and hid it in places all over the room
but of course she knew nothing about it

she claimed i stole a book of hers - she later backed down from that - admitted she had let me have it - it was too serious and her father had standing in the community - she didn't want it to get out of the classroom
